The 2025 Hampshire County Council Elections will take place on Thursday 1st May 2025.

Formal applications and self-nominations are now open for all Hampshire County Seats. There are seven seats within the East Hampshire Constituency Labour Party’s area:

• Alton Rural
• Alton Town
• Catherington
• Liphook, Headley & Grayshott
• Petersfield Butser
• Petersfield Hangers
• Whitehill, Bordon & Lindford

Requirements:

On top of legal requirements, in order to qualify to stand in the upcoming County Elections you will need to meet the following criteria:

• Be a resident in the area of the relevant local authority, and
• Hold your party membership in the area of the relevant local authority
• Have been a member of the party for at least 12 months.
• Be a member of a trade union

There are also further criteria in the qualification and disqualification document that can be forwarded to you.
